Inefficient Card processing equipment - Federated Canada

I purchased a card processing device from Federated Canada last week. Given the reputation of the company I did not bother myself about the hefty money I was paying for the device. I was expecting the system to make the billing and payment processing more efficient for my grocery store. All businessmen want to make the stay of their customers more comfortable and pleasant at their store. But the card reading device has proved to be a worthless addition to the business.


It often stops working and fails to identify cards. The printer also develops snags and jams adding to my customers’ inconvenience and my embarrassment. I have stopped using it again and am looking for a better service. Any recommendations?

Slow and inefficient payment processing application by Federated Canada

I have a garments business. I also have a website so that I can reach out to a wider customer base. I was using online card processing of a company. The system was taking long to process payment requests so I switched to Federated Canada. But this service is worse. The application freezes when the traffic is high.

Besides the agency has employs poor technical staff for fixing issues. It is hard to explain snags to them. They seemed untrained. This is affecting my business badly. These glitches are giving a bad customer experience to visitors on my site. My business is losing reputation. If things do not improve soon I may lose my customers.


I would advise people not to go for this service. The company doesn’t deliver promises. This is not expected of a brand such as Federated Canada.

Negative Reviews In Their Complaints Board

Federated Canada is the most renowned company in Canada for many years. It is said that it is the most leading low credit card processing company and merchant account services for independent business owners. Many clients are inclined towards them by their services and attractive programs. But now recently there review and complaints boards are flooded with negative reviews that have a wide range of options including contract disputes and bill payments.  Near about 60 complaints are lodged through BBB in last 44 months and all of them are unresolved. This shows the true character or attitude of the company. The contractual fees and termination fees are very hectic and confusing for the clients. Even if the clients post reviews they are not entertained by this service provider and finally a vague situation appears between the clients and service provider. No One in the company even the top level executives are interested in handling for better solutions. The things are going the same and the company is facing the consequences.


If they are not in a position to change they are out of this financial business market and it also creates confusion on the minds of the customers who are using the good credit payment options.
